Hello Gents,
This past week I met someone and we went out on our first date. It was simple but the first date, to me, is the most important. In my opinion, this is when you get to meet the person at a more personal level and you get know how they are and if they interest you. This is when you find out if they are your "type."
I personally think that the first impression is made by what someone is wearing especially when it comes to dates. A person's attire can say many things, from how serious they take you to what their style is. Guys, take notes because it is very important that you look presentable and like a gent.
What to wear on the first date can be tricky but it just depends where you are heading out to. For example, if you are going to a date at the movies or somewhere casual, it is best if you wear some dark denim jeans and a nice shirt. This can be from a regular t- shirt to a button up shirt. You can never go wrong with jeans because they are adequate for any occasion and they are comfortable. Now if the date is more formal and it is like an anniversary celebration, then this is the time where a pair of slacks would work or even some jeans with a blazer. The point in this situation is to look formal so the person knows you care but the occasion. As a guy, one of the things you want to keep in mind and never do on the first date or any date is over shine the person you are going with. You do not want to make that person feel underdressed for the event. It is best to know where the date is going to take place n what the occasion is.

What is in for the fall season?
Like I mentioned before being a guy does not mean you can't look out for what you wear. Some guys just do not care at all but it something that in my opinion should be taking into consideration due to that we are getting prepared for the real world and for the challenges we have to overcome.
Now that the fall season has begun and cold weather with rainy days heads towards our way, there are some things a guy can do to keep his cool. One of the trends that always runs during the fall season is leather jackets or thick coats. Even though leather jackets can be a bit cold they are very trendy.
You can combine the jacket or coat with many accessories to complete your look as well as the most important, feeling comfortable. Some of these accessories can be from gloves, to scarfs, to beanies. I myself like to wear beanies and scarfs in the winter because even though one of my friends contradicts me, the do make a difference. In the guy world, some are afraid of wearing scarfs because in their opinion, they look "feminine," but the secret is in the color and how you wear it. As a guy of course you are not going to buy a pink or sky blue scarf, but the three main colors a man should focus on should be black, gray, or even white and even mix a few colors with these dark shades.

Like a Gent
Don't know what to wear for the first day of school? Having trouble picking out what to wear and makes you look good? If you are like me this blog will definitely help you out.
Guys don't usually pay attention to what they wear. In my school I see from people who wear just sports shorts and a tanktop to class and that is their attire for the day. I also see other people who dress really professional and take the time to put a wardrobe together. With some of my friends I see the same trends, "basketball shorts" and an ACDC shirt to justify they are living the college life and can't spare time to decide what to wear.
"But you're a guy, you shouldn't have problems with choosing what to wear!" How many of you have heard this comment before? Like me, I have been told this several times but it does not matter whether you are a male of female, one of the most important things is to look presentable and look sharp.
Trends really inspire me into what to wear and how to keep up with the styles that are going on. From shoes to shirts to accessories, these can make a difference in how you "outfit of the day" will look. The clue is finding your style but also knowing what to combine and how shirts, shoes, and pants can work for different occasions. Everything is in making you look like a Gent!
